About Paul Wakefield

My name is Paul Wakefield and I am a Reiki Master-Teacher, trained and certified by Egyptian Reiki and Practical Healing (Reiki Lineage), practising the Usui Western style of Reiki. I am a member of the UK Reiki Federation (Master Teacher Membership Number 6333B) and follow its Code of Ethics and Code of Professional Practice. Download the document.

In person Reiki and QHHT sessions are offered by appointment when available. Distant Reiki, Tarot readings and Soul Realignment sessions are available online worldwide.

I spent much of my earlier career working in Information Technology as a Programmer, Systems Analyst and Project Leader. After running a small computer consultancy and spending many hours in stressful situations in front of a computer, I recognised the negative impact this was having on my health. I took a break and sought a new direction in 2005.

Since then, I have gained a Diploma in Clinical Hypnotherapy (DCH) from the Bangkok School of Hypnotherapy and qualified in many supplementary aspects of Reiki, including crystal healing, pendulum work and energetic space clearing. The hypnotherapy diploma is a qualification recognised by the UK General Hypnotherapy Standards Council (GHSC).

I am also a Soul Realignment Level 2 practitioner (January 2021) and a QHHT Level 2 practitioner (August 2019).

I am qualified to teach Reiki (Usui Western Style) Levels 1, 2, 3 (Reiki Master) and 4 (Reiki Master-Teacher), as well as Crystal Healing, Pendulum Diagnosis, Psychometry, Aura Vision and Develop Psychic Awareness (DPA).

At the close of 2014, I took part in the “Masters of Wellness” programme at Anantara spas in Chiang Rai, Chiang Mai and Phuket Layan. I spent two weeks at each location, offering Reiki sessions, Tarot card readings and guest seminars on “Life – The Healing Journey”.

In May 2017, I worked as a visiting consultant at Chiva-Som in Hua Hin for two weeks, offering Reiki, Intuitive Consulting and Hypnotherapy. I also taught four members of staff to Reiki Master level. From 2017 to 2021, I offered quarterly Reiki 1 courses at Chiva-Som Academy in Bangkok and taught members of its staff to Reiki Master and Crystal Healing levels.

Through my Reiki training, I have also studied planetary transformation and energetic space clearing. I have participated in major Earth-clearing projects, including work connected with five temples at Angkor Wat in December 2012.

Why do I do what I do?

My passion is to help people explore the answers to life challenges, whether they are physical, mental, emotional or spiritual.

On my own journey, I have found that greater awareness can reveal energetic blockages and patterns. Understanding what is happening, why it may be happening and what options are available can make meaningful change possible.

Bringing awareness to health challenges, dissatisfaction or stagnation can help you recognise and release what may be holding you back, giving you the opportunity to move forward and express more of who you truly are.

My modalities—Reiki, Soul Realignment, QHHT and Tarot—are intended to offer insight, healing support and a deeper connection with Consciousness. My role is to guide and empower you as you make conscious choices on your own journey towards greater balance, awareness and peace.

Why “Crystal Dragon” Reiki?

I practise the Usui Western style of Reiki, so why did I choose the name “Crystal Dragon Reiki”?

The Crystal

Crystals are natural stones or semi-precious gems found throughout the Earth. Each has a distinctive structure and, within crystal-healing traditions, is understood to carry its own energetic qualities and vibration. When used as part of a wellbeing practice, crystals may support relaxation, focus and personal intention. Their vibration is also believed to interact with the energy of a person or space when used correctly.

Crystals should be carefully cleansed and charged between uses. I can incorporate crystals into a Reiki session on request at the same fee as a standard Reiki session. I also teach Crystal Healing for Reiki Practitioners and the Basic Crystals Course for people without prior Reiki training, providing a practical foundation for using crystals responsibly.

The Dragon

The very talented Teal Swan from https://tealswan.com/  channels and paints frequency paintings which carry the vibration of the subject painted. Many people experience these images as carrying the feeling or vibration of the subject depicted. Spending time with them may influence how you feel or what you notice, just as prolonged exposure to visual symbols can affect your awareness. Her image is recreated with her permission and the description of her “Dragon” seemed appropriate for what I wanted to create in terms of healing i.e “The thought form of reptilian/serpentine nature that is rampant throughout the  world of mythology. They carry the vibration of Magic, Wisdom, DNA Activation,  Auspiciousness, Luck, Power, Strength, and the ability to choose in life whether  to become malevolent or benevolent in one’s actions. They are quite common to  run into in the lower levels of out of body experience because they have been a  part of the human mind in all cultures around the world for so long.”
